Here's a variation on traditional alphabet blocks that serves as a centrepiece or an entertaining little game. Sand the sides and corners of some 50mm square wooden blocks and paint them in soft beachy or bright tropical colours. Cut 50mm squares from maps and photos of your favorite tropical island and glue the squares on each block. Stack the blocks for a fun conversation piece or arrange them on a tray as a puzzle.
